Our innovative technology enables any traditional landline phone to connect over the cellular network through a SIM card inside of our landline base, ensuring uninterrupted service (with power back-up) without the need for Wi-Fi, while offering best in class software features like robust spam call blocking.

About the role
Join our fully remote team at Community Phone as an SEO Specialist and help us grow our digital content presence. You’ll use your expertise in SEO best practices, keyword strategy, and content optimization to drive organic traffic, capture top search rankings, and make our brand even more visible.
We’re looking for someone passionate about keeping up with Google’s latest updates, skilled in page optimization with tools like Ahrefs, and fluent in crafting content that resonates with both consumer and business to business audiences.

- Search Visibility Champion: Draft and optimize website content to improve organic rankings and drive traffic. Build web pages in our in-house CMS, track performance, and refine strategies to achieve page 1 rankings on Google.
- Content Strategist and Link Builder: Execute a content plan that aligns with our site architecture. Identify internal link-building opportunities to strengthen topical authority.
- Page Speed Optimizer: Ensure our website is optimized for speed and mobile-friendliness by resizing images, optimizing scripts, and following SEO best practices for fast, seamless user experiences.
- Team Collaborator: Work closely with our engineering and marketing teams to ensure on-brand, search-optimized, and user-friendly web experiences. You will be supported by a master SEO editor on all web page drafts.

- SEO Expert: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, with a deep understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. You’re well-versed in tools like Ahrefs, Google Analytics, and Search Console.
- ✍️ Exceptional Communicator: Your command of English is excellent, and you’re comfortable creating SEO-focused content that reads naturally and engages users. You also enjoy having an editor on all written drafts, not taking personal offense to any changes in content.
- Up-to-Date with SEO Trends: You keep up with the latest SEO updates, algorithm changes, and emerging tools. You’re committed to implementing best practices and adjusting strategies to align with Google’s latest updates.
- Data-Driven and Analytical: You know how to analyze data, measure SEO performance, and use insights to inform and improve content strategies.

Compensation
Our budget for this position is $30K USD/year. Total compensation is based on several factors that are unique to each candidate. These factors include (but are not limited to) job-related knowledge and skill set, depth of experience, certifications and/or degrees, and specific work location.
